Recent lamb nutrition experiments conducted at Lincoln College
are described. Details of balance studies with lambs fed ewe's milk and
fresh lucerne are given and trials involving pure species pastures
briefly reviewed. Growth data for lambs early weaned at 3 to 4 weeks of
age on to lucerne and in some cases grass pastures showed that
satisfactory liveweight increases occurred.
